Good Day , Raja@Asus how can i request an updated Bios with the Latest Bios Raid OROM v11.5.0.1582 on it for my ASUS P8Z77-V LK ? I can see many Z77 Motherboards have already had Bios updates wich inlcudes the new Raid ROM Option updated to Bios Raid OROM v11.5.0.1582. The Last Bios Update for the ASUS P8Z77-V LK Bios is Version 0404 wich iit's dated June 8 , 2012 , but the Latest Bios 0404 for my ASUS P8Z77-V LK does not include Updated Bios OROM v11.5.0.1582 , Bios 0404 still stuck with an old Raid OROM v11.0.0.1339. I would like an updated Bios how or where to request it ? Thank you in advanced for your help and support Raja@Asus.

Not sure when 11.5 will be added at the moment. Usually OROM updates are only made if absolutely necessary and are only released after qualification.

Thank you for the quick response Raja , appretiate it , But Asus has released a new bios for Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe Yesterday that has Bios Raid OROM v11.5.0.1582 already in it as well as other Asus Z77 Boards , Then as per your words is indeed an aboslutly nessesary OROM update. I ask because it gives better performance and Reliability on Sata 3 6/Gb/s SSDs on the two Sata 3 Intel Ports For Raid0 Arrays. If Asus has done it for the Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe and other Z77 Boards I would like to ask for support for my Board P8Z77-V LK with an updated Bios Raid OROM v11.5.0.1582 , i see it as a nesseasary Update for us with Sata 3 SSDs in Raid0 using Intel Chipset Raid. Can you call or contact someone at Asus that deals with Bios and ask for this matter to help us ? Theres quite a few of us needing this new Bios OROM Raid update. Thank you in advanced.

    Kind Regards: Chispy

You can contact ASUS Support (Google search for your region should throw up the URL) or ask via the VIP forums. The BIOS updates are always staggered because they cannot qualify all the boards at the same time.

Well the 6950 boot up issue is fixed with the 14 bios. I still have to keep the iGPU selected as the primary though or I lose power settings in Catalyst Control Center.

This limitation is so stupid and disappointing for me, because at Boards for the same or less price from Gigabyte or Asrock I would have this function.
I see screens, where people use Asus Mem Tweakit with a Gigabyte UD5. If I try something like this on my Asus P8Z77-V Pro it will not work. I must use Memory Tweaker for Intel Chipsets from this Forum.

I am always using Asus Boards and also recommend them in German Forums. To tell You the truth, with my next build I need to make a better research and I need to choose better.
Will never understand why Asus do something like this.
Perhaps just a small oversight on ASUS's part ?

In any case, do you know if the "VTT" setting is in the works of being added ?

No, it will not be added. It is physically impossible as there is no separate voltage regulator for VCCSA on lower-class boards. Only WS, Deluxe, Premium and ROG series boards have separate VCSSA and VCCIO regulators.

I got into another issue as well. This time with Luci Virtu MVP
It seems that regardless if the Virtu MVP sw is enabled or not i do not have any gain.
Heaven Benchmark v3.0 Basic Virtu MVP Disabled FPS: 118.8 Scores: 2992 Min FPS: 52.8 Max FPS: 254.1
Heaven Benchmark v3.0 Basic Virtu MVP Enabled FPS: 118.9 Scores: 2996 Min FPS: 54.4 Max FPS: 249.7
Heaven Benchmark v3.0 Basic Virtu MVP UNinstalled FPS: 118.8 Scores: 2992 Min FPS: 52.8 Max FPS: 254.1
    The system sees GPU model:
    Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 9.17.10.2792 2112Mb
    and not my GTX 680

Any ideas ?? (Of cource both nvidia drivers and interl HD 4000 as well virtu have been uninstalled and installed several times as well bios settings to enabled for the Igpu.
    many thanks

You are doing something wrong and your issue is not related to Asus. Go and google how Lucid Virtu MVP works. And how can it be that your system dosen't list GTX680 in Device manager??? Then how did you manage to install nvidia drivers??? Definitely you are confusing something.
You should attach your monitor to GTX 680 and set it as primary display in bios.
In the same Graphics Configuration set iGPU Multi-Monitor support to enabled.
Then boot into Windows and make sure that both Nvidia and Intel HD are listed in the Device manager. Then install drivers for both.
Then install Lucid Virtu MVP software.

And this is a shame! A Gigabyte UD5 what cost the same like an Asus Z77 Pro makes here the difference. Asus saved Money at the wrong place.
This kind of limitations let me as an Asus Fan next time choose a other brand.

    You are missreading
The Heaven Benchmark lists Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 9.17.10.2792 2112Mb opposite to
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 8.17.13.142 2048Mb as it used to do before.
I did not mention anything about the device manager.
With reference to the BIOS settings. I tried both (auto/pcie) with no result. I removed and reseted the VGA card with no result.
I used both the original vga drivers for the intel 4000 as well as the new and even the update that comes when going to properties
At the moment iam listing driver vers. 8.15.10.2696
    the nvidia driver is 8.17.13.142
The Lucid is enabled and with license status activated. both the Aug 03, 2012 release and Jun 17, 2012 have been reinstalled.

Also the biggest tell is the "in game icon" that does not appear when 3d applications running. Opposite to what it did just few days ago.
For reference the latest IntelŪ HD Graphics WHQL Driver for Windows 8* 64 (zip), which includes the Win7 64bit installer can be found here. -> link

Drivers are current as identified by the updater it self.
Product Detected IntelŪ HD Graphics 4000
    Current Driver Installed 8.15.10.2696
    Your driver is current.

Of course it is D-mode we are talking about.
Also forgot to add ,if i disable it from the BIOS (the i-GPU) i will get the error msg from the Lucid MVP sw that the 4000 card is not present. This proves that the card is enabled both in bios as well it is visible from within the system manager.

EDIT: BIOS cleared and re flashed, no improvement.

When the hell is this going to be fixed? Even P8C WS doesn't work with lsi raid in pcie slots. It also does work with silicon image in the PCI slot. Who is doing validation over there? It has been months.

I understand that P8Z77 was never qualified for compatibility with serious raid controllers (like LSI, Adaptec and Areca). But using hardware raid card with 1Gb onboard cache and fast processor is so temptating (both with SAS HDD and SSD).

LSI 9265-8i has the latest firmware available (version 23.4.1-0028 dated March 30, 2012)
I tried disabling all add-on controllers in ASUS UEFI bios: ASMedia USB, ASMedia SATA, Marvell, Intel, Realtek LAN and Audio. That didn't help. Also I played with bios menu item which allows selection priority between UEFI and Legacy option ROM. That also didn't help.
The systems passes post stage very quickly, not showing any sign that raid card is present (as you probably know, any raid card slows down post time significantly due to long initialization). In Windows, Device manager also doesn't show LSI card. Although AIDA64 and GPU-Z tell that Radeon 7970 is left with only 8 lanes of PCI-E. That is "invisible" LSI card occupied 8 lanes of native PCI-E (if installed in PCEx16_2 slot).
The card itself is 100% working and checked on another system (ASUS R2E).

Sorry if your pooch is screwed. This is why you must use addon cards for important functions. You can't trust that the motherboard components will be kept up to date. Lsi will always have an interest in their raid cards but Asus will not always care about Intel raid.

Wait, that has been fixed already (with bios 1206 for Deluxe and 0703 for WS).

Then i'm sorry. Maybe Heaven is not that kind of benchmark where Lucid can add fps. Try 3dmark06 instead, just to know if Lucid software is working properly.

Hean or 3dMark, it does not matter. Either way, looking for "something" that tells me that the ludic mvp is working. From the results i get it does not seem that way.
The "In Game" Icon for example does not show either.
What other ways one has in order to test this ?

From this picture you see the difference between one pc and mine and how the icons seems to understand what GPU is what. Do not know the importance of this but here you have something strange.
