Asus RMA service is unpredictable. Few years ago they claimed that there are some deep scratches on the PCB of my P6T. So i was asked to pay $70 for the repair. ok i paid them as I really need the board urgently. Recently I had a RIVE with broken socket pin (big one). So they sent me a brand new replacement without question asked nor charged me.
