LinX with 30GB+ triggers a shutdown at the same point every single time, it runs flawlessly with smaller amounts but I can't for the life of me figure out why.
Tried everything; all additional power cables are connected, tried increasing current capabilities, increased voltages, lowered RAM frequency and I've tried disabling surge protection, VRM overheating protection and so on with no success. Actively cooling the VRM area too.
Overall the system is perfectly stable in games, virtual machines and what-not, but my curiosity can't let the LinX mystery go unnoticed. I'm thinking maybe it's PSU related considering my 580s overclock like(850 core with 1.1V isn't stable..), or am I missing something obvious here?
The PSU is a HX1000, which essentially consists of two 500W units. The components are identical to Thermaltake's Toughpower 1500 so it should be able to squeeze out a little more than what it was rated for.
