    The 311 has nice heavy feel to it, which I wasn't expecting, and it's also a little faster too. I'm still on the fence about endurance testing it though. I was running some numbers and I think it would just take too damn long. I think it would take somewhere near 2 years, maybe not even then. Who knows? Surely it would last a little longer than the Mushkin, and that's a start.

    It has more of a stainless steel top, but the same stupid 2mm spacer on it.

    I've been digging in a little deeper as to why the Mushkin went T.U.

    Raw Read Error Rate is ECC + uRAISE errors.
    Retired block count is not actual blocks, but 100 * (retired blocks / minimum acceptable free space in blocks). Not sure how the value of 11 stacks up, but I believe that each retired block may be much more significant than I initially believed -- but I still don't think 11 is high.
