Intel has recently permitted a performance preview of Sandy Bridge EP, making AMD's silence even more frustrating and this silence is indeed the most annoying thing. They seem to expect people to continue to wait patiently and without complaint though delay after delay. Although, AMD finally did the recent BD overclocking exposition (sans benchmarks), which was long overdue, they continue to remain silent about almost anything regarding Interlagos' performance or eventual availability. I do understand JF-AMD is in an unenviable position between both worlds, but the total lack of anything official on Interlagos makes me wonder how much effort he has put forward toward getting permission to release something or indeed anything. This, along with the quick denial of any and all unofficial information leaks (which may or may not be completely accurate) suggests an enjoyment of being privy to the knowledge he has about Interlagos. Of course, this is simply my interpretation of the situation, which may indeed be wrong.
