Yes I know those are PSC mate, just teasing hiwa a bit!

While you said many things back then, you never said that...

No idea about the GeIL kit in question, but they used these OEM Elpida chips as well on their 2133 C9 kits ( Ultra Series and Black Dragon ).

Of course I said that - would be weird PSC that do 1140 9-9-9 and 1200 9-10-9-24

BTW, @topic, my 24/7 Ripjaw 2000 9-9-9- they run worse than my 2000 trident who had the honour to be my worst mems before, but who cares -better than nothing

I just noticed that the XMP profile in my modules is set @ 1.60Vdimm? :S Factory issue or something else?

Seems to vary randomly, the Ripjaws are labeled as 9-9-9-27 at 1,6V and have this XMP, the Trident 2000 I have are labeled exactly the ssame and have XMP at 1,60V- I donīt see any methodical difference^^

I don't know if there is a real difference / as said these Tridents are labeled the same as my Ripjaws at specs, but XMP is different, you can see it on the screen

The fact the tridents run a bit better can be normal oc-range - as the great poets from Limp Bizkit said - results may vary

i have two set of 2x2gb 9-9-9-27 tridents... i was hoping to run them both for 8gb but i'm not sure how it will effect it's overclockability... looking for atleast 2133 cas 8 or 7 for 24/7

EDIT: oh btw.. mine are 2000 9-9-9-27... i have a couple sets of them

Pretty sure my Trident 2133 9-9-9 are PSC. Havent looked but they scale to 1.74v and will do 2250 @ 7-9-7 for benching. Wish I could find another set.

well here is what i can do so far for 24/7
    vdimm@1.65v
    vccio@1.165v

Stay away from the EVGA P67 FTW board, until they fix the crappy bios.... plus memory scales terribly... same set does 7-9-7 2200MHz w/same volts on my ud7.

Anyone recommend anything better for 24/7 clocks? (<160 usd)

lowered to 1.14v... still stable, not sure how low i should go... it's a pain applying my overclock again on this board so i don't want to lose it

Do you have any recommendations on ram that is less than 160 USD that's good for 24/7 use and benching?

I am returning this motherboard and buying a MIVE, very bad memory overclocking
