can you guys tell me the VTT/QPI voltage you need to hit 2000 9-9-9 (rated timings)

I think part of my struggles is having to keep Uncore frequency lower. Maybe I should invoke the 22x multiplier to see.... My VTT seems to need like 1.53-1.55 or so to hit that 4ghz Uncore even though RAM is at only 1900mhz. I brought Uncore down from 2x+1 to 2x (21x down to 20x) and the RAM was fine and I could get away with 1.45 VTT. But as I ramped BCLK to 195 (1950mhz RAM) it seemed I needed to ramp VTT back up to 1.5. If I hit 200 BCLK I'm guessing I'm gonna need close to 1.55.... maybe its safer to try using x22 CPU multi for a lower BCLK... shrug.

VTT needed for 2000 is going to depend on your particular CPU's IMC, though the general range seems to be between 1.35~1.55v with some CPUs needing 1.60v+.

Quite good, Im sure you could run it at 6/7/6/24/1T quite easily..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

Hey guys...I've bought a kit of 16000CL9D-4GBRH and just removed the HS to see what's under...I was hoping to see Elpida BBSE etc etc but all I got was some -almost- blank chips with some numbers (E949A8B0941D)..I took a picture but it's a mess..So I dont think it's helpful..So what are these?PSC?

The person that can make anything out of that picture deserves a free ram kit...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I already told you the picture is a mess, that's why I've written the numbers on the chips..

Those chips are probably OEM chips by PSC or Elpida.

Take a good look at the shorter side of the chip. If you see exactly the same as a picture below then you got BBSE. There should be no tiny copper dots on the white line. You may need a magnifier to see it.

    Here's my 16000CL9D-4GBRHD.

    Good luck!

Looks like you got BBSE there. Congrats!

4GBRHD The "D" means the cooling fan is included in the kit. Mine can do 2133/9-9-9-27 1T @1.65v.
Didn't try anything higher since it couldn't do 2133/7-9-7-20 like my 17000CL8D-4GBXM. So I sold it

The BBSE with proper screening also found in the 16000CL9D-4GBRHD as well.

Gregorisvas i answer your pm here

we have 2 kind of BBSE
marked BBSE DJ_? and batch number best one for OC
OEM BBSE starts with ?9XXXXX batch number all with E9XXX are good
i have 2133 9-9-9-24 perfect storm kit 3 X 2 and they are very old
    Trident 2000 9-9-9-27
    Ripjaws 2000 9-9-9-27 1,6
    and new RipjawsX 2133 8-9-8

i can say 99,99% of memories 2000 or higher with 9 tRCD are BBSE or hyper
PSC can't do tight tRCD at these frequences

BTW PSC always starts with X??..... XEY,XDT, and another 10 batchs

Are you sure about that? I've seen some PNs starting with Txx, for example TGX894A3G-A, TGY016A3G-A, THS556A3G-U or THS463A3G-W, mostly on Exceleram sticks but also on Ripjaws X sticks.

Chips with code Txx and end with 3G-A(3G-U and 3G-P)are also PSC but newer batch.

P.S. hiwa is right about the tRCD.

I told you the Team 2200 had BBSE - now you have to believe it - btw, my geil 2133 Evo one could do 2250 9-9-9 and I think Geil only used PSC, didnīt they?

P.S. @ Theix my 2000 GBTD can do 2133 7-9-7 maybe you should have given TRAS 23 and it would have worked, but they are sure no match for the 17000 C8^^
