Well i got PWM temps down by 10celcius by remounting it, but NB just keaps going at 60-62 celcius at load.

I havent upped any voltages in NB so it should stay much lower, hot NB is heating up also cpu cooler litlebit but it can handle that heat due its NH-D14.

Guess its normal to have 60+ celcius in NB and 70+ celcius in PWM at 4ghz+ with full load, after all cpu is eating 140+ watts of power with overclock.

Another thing why it maybe is running hot is due indoor temperatures of 25-30 celcius in summer.

EDIT : Gigabyte send me new bios F3b Beta. If someone wants it just pm me and ill send it soon as i can.

Currently with 1 fan pulling air into the case a 120mm 1000rpm fan sitting by the nb (placed on top of my gpu) and a 900rpm exhaust my TMPIN1 34c is TMPIN2 34c idle

Sent you a pm for the bios, did the gigabyte rep said it's ok to flash with the @Bios application?

I have flashed my UD5 twice with the built in Q-flash utility without any issues. The board does have dual bios chips (UD3 also have dual Bios). So in case a flash goes bad it will auto revert to the backup in the secondary chip.

GIGABYTE DualBIOS™ is a patented technology that automatically recovers BIOS data when the main BIOS has crashed or failed. Featuring 2 physical BIOS ROMs integrated onboard, GIGABYTE DualBIOS™ allows quick and seamless recovery from BIOS damage or failure due to viruses or improper BIOS updating.
In other words, you can safely choose the method of flashing that suits you without worrying to much about a failed BIOS flash.

My board is in the case so there is nothing but CPU cooler blowing air to PWM and allmost nothing blowing air to NB since there is nowhere place to put fan due monster sized Noctua NH-D14 :/

Gigabyte rep didnt say anything about that but since UD3 have got DualBios you can flash it without being afraid you screw up you're bios flash.

I flashed from F2 to F3a and F3a to F3b without any problems with built in Q-flash.

Anyway i sended the bios links to you and other people who asked.

Quite stable voltages at 1.475v set trough bios with F3b, how ever, no idea about what TMPIN1 and TMPIN2 are but damn they're running insanely hot, i can only guess but i think TMPIN1 is PWM and TMPIN2 is chipset.

Those temperatures are normal while Noctua NH-D14's middle fan blowing air to PWM??????????????????????.

Wel my board runs at same temps as my old UD5P.

I want the new bios for it, can someone PM me or post the links here?

Damn that board runs at low temps, 41max for PWM as well as for Chipset.

No idea why mine runs so hot.

    Are you OC'ing ???
My UD5 runs cool a stock clocks. But when I start to OC, then around 4 GHz + Linx the PWM temp gets into the late 50's early 60's.
But it's not something I'm worried about.

Well I'm running a 955 @ 3.7 with NB @ 2600 with stock volts! But I have all this in a Antec Lanboy Air with 4 fans pointed at the mobo. I'd say get worried around mid to late 70's. My Gigabyte UD5P got up to the low 90's with no problems, but I don't know how these new NB's handle heat, so.

Ive got an open test bench and a 120mm fan over the NB and PWM, that might be why it stays cooler.

    Thank you for the reply

    UD7: ATX Form Factor; 30.5cm x 26.3cm

    UD5 : ATX Form Factor; 30.5cm x 24.4cm

So UD7 only wider but narrower than the mobo i just fitted in the case( Asus Rampage Extreme III)

yea its a bit wider, but should pose as no problem.

And yea sorry guys, i thought i read over at the GB UK forums some guy said he had the UD7 F5B BIOS, but i guess it was just for the UD5! hahah

Anyways I just finished all my testing on the F4B, not a bad BIOS. I had minimal BIOS problems, of course the voltage drop was there, but i compensated for it , high idle vcore didnt' bother my CPU at all, temps under load were under 55C:

    Idle:

What a great board, 300blck was easy as hell, max cpu clock is 4400 with the same vcore as above, and 4200/1920 on the ram is my Stable OC using a 1100T and Corsair 2133mhz 9,10,9,27 T2 rated RAM.

I will have a full review up asap, and Ill make sure to link it to you guys in this thread.
