Is the GA-990FXA-UD3 a good motherboard for around $190 or should i pick something else? I wont be running SLI from the beginning tho. I want to pay max $200

I think I wasn't precise enough with my description.
On UD7 I have normal Turbo Core in BIOS as all boards supporting Thuban, but on top of that option there is Turbo Core BOOST option which boosts more than default 3 cores, it boosts 5 cores out of 6 to turbo speed. I find it very useful especially for gaming where normal Turbo Core was lets say 50% of time boosting CPU speed due to system loads + game loading more than 3 cores at a time therefore forcing CPU to stock speed. With Turbo Core Boost I can play Crysis 2, Witcher 2 or almost any other game with 99% of CPU time spent in turbo clock.
I hope it's clear now what I'm talking about.

Well i ment with that that when in UD5/7 i set it to 1.475 volts it sticks in that 1.45-1.475 volts and dont suddenly sky rocket it to 1.575 volts like with UD3.
When i overclock UD5 and UD7 sticks with that 1.45v in idle and doesnt drop or rise voltages when in heavy load.
CnQ is On, Turbo Core is Off, C1E dont remember ill check later.
CnQ is On due i want it to go to 800-1000Mhz at 1.1 - 1.2 volts than stay at 1.45 - 1.47 volts all the time when im doing nothing with the PC, due i want it save power at those times, electric bills for me is astronomic since i have 14 servers in basement and they eat alot of power.

F3B? F4B?
Strange thing is when i set vcore to 1.56 volts it wont do that strange jump but sticks with that 1.56 volts when its running at full frequency, but when i set vcore to 1.475 it will do that jump sometimes to 1.575volts.
No idea whats causing this problem.
Edit :
F3A overvolts cpu by 0.03volts compared to F2 bios, but it fixed alot of bugs i noticed.
It no more hangs at that storage drive list at my BlueRay drive when trying to go bios while ACHI is enabled.

Thats some massive drop.
But this will happen when you overclock it.
Note only Min and Max because there it is when its at full stress. Min is idle voltage, Max is load voltage how ever multimeter shows same with newer bios. Bios set to 1.5volts.
Those temps i have.. are way off.

Finally I've let go the one year and an half "temporary" mid/low end motherboard and made the move back to a top motherboard, to be more specific the 990fxa-ud7. Amongst with it the ddr2 modules also had to go a a set og 8GB crucial ballistix stick were purchased. So now the big question, what's the most recent bios version available? Currently I'm using f4b.
Still haven't tried anything much with the board, just installed it a couple hours ago and I'm still setting everything up.
note to self, updade sig.
I see...
My UD7, I have set in BIOS 1.275v and it sit at around 1.409 while idle. But under heavy load it drops down to 1.295. I've not seen it spike yet, if it even will. I really hope this problem is fixed in a future BIOS and when an actual BD core is attached to the socket.
An example:
Attachment 117428

well this UD3 seems to be a great board, I haven't noticed any VRM problems, but my 790FX-UD5P had a more solid vcore. UD3 do overvolt by 0,03V the CPU when loaded.
My 790FX Overvolts vdimm by 0,06V and it only had 0,05V VDRAM increments. The readed value was wrong also, and it shows the same that was set in bios and that was 0,06v higher when measured w/ DMM.
900FXA-UD3 has 0,005 vdimm increments that's very nice, and readed, real, set voltage are very precise within 0,01v difference for DMM.

i agree with rinnamotta's and barrels findings at vcore. when I ran prime, first two voltages 1.35 and 1.45 are quite stable, maybe hoped up to 0.02 for a sec that I didnt notice. But it was worse when I started with 1.5v, it jumped back and forth 0,03v for a while but at the end stabilized. It is what I noticed for every 20-30 min run.
i need fix NB heatsink (tmp2) :p since i have taken off this before. it rises up 70c at load lol

Sometimes I just hate the place I live, I serached for this motherboard all over the world, ordered from the other side of the globe and when it arrives... that's what I found in the manual.
The worst part is that I'm pretty sure it will be the last place that it will be available to buy.

If google translation is corrent, why that is problem??Produced in the Industrial Pole of Manaus

Quite stable voltages at 1.475v set trough bios with F3b, how ever, no idea about what TMPIN1 and TMPIN2 are but damn they're running insanely hot, i can only guess but i think TMPIN1 is PWM and TMPIN2 is chipset.
Those temperatures are normal while Noctua NH-D14's middle fan blowing air to PWM??????????????????????.

Yes i have checked chipset but not PWM, i think TMPIN2 is that high due graphics card is right top of it, how ever lower side of heatsink is hot, and upper side is cold, what i can do is move graphicscard to better location.
When i touch the PWM heatsink its running hot as hell, barely can touch it, its running so hot but this should not be the case since NH-D14's big middle fan is blowing air to PWM.
I think what i need is more exhaust fans to case since there is 3 intake fans and 2 exhaust fans (1 intake at "floor" of the case, 2 intakes at front of the case, 1 exhaust at back of the case, 1 exhaust at sidepanel at spot where graphics card is).
EDIT : Bah, i checked wrong heatsink... the heatsink is top of pci-e x16 and its running hotter than hell, i think i need again rebuild this pc and check that damn heatsink.
