So my 64GB Crucial M225's are probably not compatible then?

I guess 'immediately' has a whole new meaning for OCZ.

the 1st rev of the RC failed QA, so it got delayed. i gave up on checking and am expecting late july as they should test for atleast a month and they had to tweak it

That can't be good considering even production firmware from OCZ is not what one would call stable and problem-free.

the indi drives were fine until 1.6, and ocz has been one of the better ones until the sandforce drives but they sold alot of drives before the micron 34nm was out so they had to close the gap from the old micron and toshiba 50nm to the 34nm and they picked wrong and went with naya. so they were caught in a problem if horrendously expensive micron nand and selling it for no profit or a loss like intel did or drop the price and try out other nand. they also have awesome support so while they do die they also replace them, and if u look at the other early ssd makers like patriot or gskill or adata that have 1 year warranties or will not replace the drives if the nand wears out.

ftl means faster than light, thats way better than the evga going with for the win (stupid) when it was the world before that.

i'm so happy that i got rid of all indilinx drives i owned, each of them failed at leas 2 times within a year (3 drives, 1OCZ, 2 Supertalent) - i'll stay with samsung and intel controllers even though they cost slightly more and perform slightly worse; at least they don't have a 100% failure rate like indlinx drives using the 1.6 firmware or crap NAND like their Sandforce drives

no no no....these are computer/gaming sayings my friend...

FTW=For The Win.....shamelessly stolen by EVGA, but in use for years before that.

FTL=For The Loss.....as in something that sucks. tbh when i first seen the name of this firmware, that was the first thing i thought, and i bet that there are thousands who thought the same way...

That sucks. I just flashed mine to 1.6 tonight and after the flash it said it failed but after I powered off completely and rebooted it worked fine and showed 1.6 firmware. Performance wasn't improved over 1.5 for me though.

Aren't the prices way too high to be competitive? Vertex Plus 60GB is $89 at Amazon, $90 at Newegg - 120GB is $171 at Amazon and $180 at Newegg. Even the specification sheet performance is two generations behind.
