I laff at idiots who can't afford 2 CPUs
Two things will happen to you when BD is released.
1. You will be glad you made the jump on SB and brag about it endlessly on forums.
2. You will come to realise two months went by so quick and you couldn't even utilise SB to its potential and regret not waiting 2 months.

Life's pretty simple and you guys just complicate the hell out of it. If it's not ready then it's not ready. If you can't wait then don't, stop posturing like the world stops to care just because you can't get your early performance previews. I've had my rant and moved on but some guys just go on and on and on like a whiny energizer bunny.
act like adults guys, no need to swear at each other over this.
Not true; for the amount of time some people have been trolling here, it'd be extremely easy to get dosh for a decent chip. Plus there's always resale...
Back in the days people OCed for fun, bargain chips were in, and nobody took sides; look at what these bunch of divas are. Ugh. Worse than women.
SB is out since january, not march.. many people got their systems between january-march and replaced the motherboard.
from the lion's mouth: "zambezi PIBs scheduled to be available late summer 2011" "60-90 days from cumputex 2011"
good luck on finding a zambezi to buy in july...
I think this is pertinent and applies to several people. I therefore use it again.
Also, to a few of you,

Crippled but not much as one in video.
Most likely same chips that goes for manufactuerers for motherboard testing.
AMD intentionally cripples the chips in order to hide their true performance, but there is nothing to worry about for AMD considering what it goes against in its price range.

I guess it makes me a stupid AMD fanboy that I'm still excited for BD. I have no need and no money to put towards a system right now, so there's hardly a sense of urgency, just anticipation. I'm witholding judgement until there's an official release.
Arent we all stupid AMD fanboys? Having fristfights about what BD is going to be like, super slow fail, super fast intel killer or not eather one of them.
Time to turn into VIA fanboy? Ehh?![]()

Sorry for my little outburst. I'm just a little miffed with AMD lately. Considering I've been a loyal AMD customer for the last 12 to 14+ years (the last Intel system I ever owned prior to my SB system was a P3 600mhz Coppermine and I've probably built 1000+ AMD systems in that time) it hurts me to see AMD can throw away any customer loyalty by deceiving it's customers. That's how I feel I've been treated by them lately. We can argue about that all day, but this isn't the place or thread for it.
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"
I just find it funny how some certain members on another forum *cough* @ *cough* think that this is going to represent the actual performance of retail BD. AMD priced it near the 2600K. I would assume it would perform near that or better.
And for anyone that thinks I'm trolling here's my previous desktop processor history: AMD K6-200, AMD Phenom II X4 920 (1/09), 550 (6/09), 555 (3/10), 1055T (4/10), E5200 (1/11), Q9300 (1/11), 555 (2/11), 955 (2/11), 840T (4/11), 2500K (6/11).
if BD performs as bad as a quad core deneb, i will buy one, and pee on it, and upload the video for all you to see![]()
