I'm glad I could help.
If it isn't problem pls send me screen with your mosfets temperature and tell what You are using to cool, fans or something.
I'm compared my temps to others..
Shoggy, as AS2012 is now out ( in beta at least ) any updates on when the AE5 LT will be shipping?
I just read on the AC german forum that LT started shipping. Probably to Germany first as was the case with the A5 pro/xt to make sure they capture any big issues before shipping overseas.

At first a general info: the Beta 2 of aquasuite 2012 is available since a few days. We are aware of several problems including users that are not able to run the software - that also includes my private system...
@Paradoxxx: not quite sure which CPU temperature you mean. The aquaero CPU also has a temperature sensor. Maybe you mean this one?
Controlling a PA2 with the aquasuite 2012 will be possible in later versions. At first we have to get that thing stable and working on every PC.
The mentioned discount for the new heatsink already exists. When ordering for at least 10 Euro and proofing that you have bought an aquaero XT or old heatsink separately you can get the new one free of charge.
@qjcrouse: The screws of the water block have been already replaced to get a stronger fit. If you want to have the new ones, let me know.
@Brodholm: controlling a D5 down till it stops is possible but requires the water block for cooling.
@ximius: all pre-ordered aquaero LTs have been shipped within this week. There are only a few reserved left in stock for a handful of orders where also others things are out of stock (mainly newer orders).
If you order now or have already ordered in this week it will take around 14 days before they are available again since the first batch of all aquaero variants is sold out.
@Phatboy69: that is wrong. All LTs have been shipped no matter of their destination.
@Shoggy
Technical question. Aquaero 4 can handle flow-meters with K factor (impulse/liter) up-to 2500. Has this value changed for Aquaero 5?
An unfortunate person is one tries to fart but sh1ts instead...

Shoggy,
How do you control a D5? I have two XT's but I have not had time to open them up.

Thanks for the reply, in light of your answer it is indeed the AE5 CPU temp that I was referring to. I look forward to the support for the PA2 and the other goodies with later releases of Aquasuite 2012. personally its really the software sensors I look forward to, so that I may dynamically adjust fans speed based on CPU/GPU temps.@Paradoxxx: not quite sure which CPU temperature you mean. GJ with the offer on the HS and also with the new screws for the WB. Unfortunately for me when I realized the HS wasn't working out I purchased a WB instead.
The WB is holding out really well, much colder to touch than the HS, however the temps still seem pretty high (75C) considering how cool the block feels the 75C reading doesn't seem accurate. When the fans are placed on 100% temps drop to 45C which imo is good sign that the WB is working.

Does anybody happen to have the inner dimensions of the AE5 Pro faceplate, that is the dimensions of the screen, ir and button cutouts with their distances from each other? I'm making a front panel which will have an integrated AE5 faceplate and unfortunately I will not be able to get my hands on one for about a month, so any assistance with these dimensions would be much appreciated.
@Shoggy: Can the sensor inputs monitor RPM? I was wondering whether I could control an MCP35X on each 2-pin PWM connector, and connect the RPM wires to sensor inputs 1 and 2. I don't want to use fan channels for this purpose, or run one pump on channel 1 in PWM mode (just goofy not to treat both pumps the same).
In any event, you *really* need a multi-channel, 4-pin PWMAdjust module! Did you forget about the MCP35X?
* I understand that you were unable to do a switchable analog/PWM design, due to space constraints. I like Churchy's idea to stack modules behind the A5 (ie. same bay). If you expect customers to buy multiple modules, you need to consider this.
Well its official the A5 will support 2 x D5 pumps running at the minimum pump start voltage of 7v with the pumps on channel 2 & 4 which pushes both channels voltage regulators to 65c with the water block.
I tried channel 3 & 4 together but that triggered over temp of 95c.
Interesting that even a single D5 will heat a fan amp to 65c too but running 2 on channels next to each pushes 95c in both fan amps.
A bit strange because the pumps each only draw 1.4 amps at full power and .8 Amps at 7v which means the heatsink only has to take a load of about .5 amp each channel.
I know the pairs 1&2 3&4 share a temp sensor each pair, so I think the engineers have some tweaking to do in the firmware around temperature measurement of the voltage regulators.
I put a temp probe down the back of the water block heatsink between it and the board and it was registering 40c on the surface of the block and 59c when near a voltage regulator.

Hmm, so one A5 + one A5LT, both with waterblocks, should handle upto 4 D5.
Phatboy: i wonder, how much power is left for fans on AA5 with two D5 attached?
