OK so I ran cinebench and it seemed to go fine. I did change Digi+ PWR Mode to [X-Power]. Everything else is the same.

Thanks for running the test but your score is way off. As i get 11.4 on mine at 4.5GHZ. and you're 100 more mhz and less 2.02 score points. I don't understand what is wrong with cinebench. Thanks

So disappointed. 4.8GHz passed 11 loops linx and crashed.

    So close, but no cigar.

Here's my settings, any suggestions? I know my vcore is high. In fact I was a little scared about it. Of course this is not 24/7, can I go any higher on the vcore for a bench to see if I can get this 4.8 or anything else to try.

    Code:
    Target CPU Frequency 4800MHz
    Target DRAM Frequency 1539MHz

let me ask ... due to cpu v core, must the cpu pll value be near cpu voltage? in this case cpu voltage is 1.60 and ppl 1.60 too, like if i had to set cpu voltage for example at 1.55v should i set ppl near to 1.55v?

No. You should find a sweet spot for CPU PLL. Every CPU is different. It should depend on frequency too.

There is a jumper near 24pin ATX power connector.

Well, I got real, real close to 4.8GHz. How does 4.794 sound?

I think 4.794 is just not 4.8 so I will have to try again some time but not for a while. I don't think I can handle the stress watching my beloved cpu run for 40min on linx at a vcore of 1.6v .

I want to apologize for interupting the OC conversations going on, but this is the only good RIIIE owners thread I know of, lol...

Warning: Non-OC question here, so please dont have a stroke, lol... Over the last few weeks I have noticed my Logitech Bluetooth usb dongle with my diNovo has been disconnecting all its devices every time I go to connect something to the hub it is on. The hub is a high quality Belkin USB hub designed to be built into computer/office desks and I have been using it without fail for several years now. Well apparently either the hub is going bad OR my logitech dongle is, either way my RIIIE is just to far away for the Logitech BT dongle to work in one of the rear usb ports.

Here's my question: The RIIIE came bundled with a RC Bluetooth module that appears like it may have sufficient power, but the stack that Asus provides is Toshiba, and they are outdated, and if I go to the Toshiba site they actually want $ for their newer version 8 and well I think thats crazy. I am wondering if anyone has been actually using Asus RC Bluetooth with Mice/Keybaords and what stacks seem to work best with this device? ALSO, will the supplied BT Module allow my diNovo to enter bios, select OS Boot partitions etc, like the Logitech dongle does?

Any advice on what stack to use with the supplied module would be appreciated, and again sorry for any interruption.

EDIT: Just noticed that this BT module can not be installed without loosening all the mobo screws, lol, so now I really need to know if this module is worth it, or should I just go to Walmart and buy a new BT dongle and hope it lets me enter the bios?

Nice summertime settings, its a shame it wont do Cas 8 with any amount of extra voltage though.

BT module will not allow you to enter bios with a dinovo. I keep my keyboard on the logitech provided usb module. i use a bluetooth mx revolution, and I pair that to the bt module. works great in windows.

On another note, does 1301 have tRL?

Don't do that, there is no need. How much heat does your RAM emit?
Last time I've seen a guy ran super low voltages on RAM, he ended up with a dead CPU. Might be a coincidence, but you never know.

No tRL. Maybe next BIOS will have best from both worlds (0xxx and 1xxx).

you're temps look fine to me... on the hot side.... but what you've got there in that image is what i ran for 4.710ghz and for 2 and a half hours straight. as long as you have consistant ambient temp going on, you should be prefectly fine for 40 minutes.

as Don said, that looks risky specially when running 24gigs of ram with OVER 2x uncore and mildly high QPI link with such low VTT. you're ratio between Dram and VTT is fine... but they seem almost scary low for the speeds they support.

I've been running 1.275v QPI @ 200 BCLK and 1600 Mhz ram since the day I installed this board, its been rock stable with both my Cas 6 2 Gb modules, and Cas 9 4 Gb modules.

These 4 Gb modules are working great at 1.3v Dram, but they dont get any better timings from more volts.

2000 Mhz ram wouldnt work even on 2133 Mhz rated 2 Gb sticks up to 1.5v QPI, so I simply stuck these 1600 Mhz 4 Gb modules in instead and leave the QPI at 1.275v.

I always thought that running at lower voltages is prefereable as long as the components are stable.

1.4v is very high for 4.2GHz.

If you actually need 1.4v for 4.2GHz... You will never hit 4.7GHz without sub ambient coolant. That chip is horrible.
    For 4.2GHz, my i7 970 needs 1.3625v.

Alright, so i've been still trying to get to my goal on 2000mhz for mem and i keep hitting the same wall... oddly enough the same wall on 2 different towers with the same hardware in them...

i can get it to boot to windows just fine at 2000mhz... even with uncore set to 2x (anything from 1.5 to 2x will boot just fine). problem is, it's ALWAYS 8 out of 12 gigs that comes up. it seems no matter what i try nothing seems to help so i'm hoping someone might see something i'm missing... here's what i've got so far:

i've tried different uncores, different RTL's (if i go up 2 or down 2 channel B drops all together), different tRL's (channels A and C do fine on normal, Channel B like -1 most of the time), different REF voltages for DRAM (seems to have best results with +0), different VTT (seems to like 1.4125v). i have mem timings to 11-11-11 even though 10-10-10 come up with the same results... alway 8 out of 12 on boot. BIOS and Windows see's 8 gigs, CPUz sees all 12... i'm gettin kinda stumped on this for the time being i've just left the main timings set a little loose to try and help.

    Code:
    Target CPU Frequency 3400MHz
    Target DRAM Frequency 2004MHz

With them RTLS it's hardly worth running 2000mhz speeds... I'm getting weird results with the Sniper kit... 1600mhz is close to or as fast as 1866Mhz And 1600C7 is faster than 2133Mhz CL9 ( the latter requires RTL tuning to be stable )

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree
