I allways get myself Silverstone Strider PSUs (watch out - some low power versions are non 100% modular Striders)
There you only have one of these double cables.
One thing you could do is turning it around so the double pin is on the PSU side.
Or you can just leave the thin one of this cable away (if you do your own cables)
And what I do is scratching away the circuit (on the board in the PSU) that goes to the thin one on the PSU side and connecting it directly in the PSU with an orange cable.
On this way you can do a 100% 1:1 cable and all of the 24 pins are there (normally one pin has to be left away on the MB-Side)
