I don't understand why AMD want kill one of the best features that they have (platform compatibility), Intel says officially that IB will be supported by SB mobos, so, if AMD goes in this way is like kill himself in the market.

My current mobo is a Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 Rev. 2.0, but the Rev. 3.0 says AM3+ but with the same 890FX and SB850 chipsets. Here are the pics.



Same chipset, so, that's no the problem for not be compatible.

If BD isn't compatible with my current mobo, I'll have to buy a new mobo soon.
