Japan quakes

I find it astonishing that there are 55 reactors in Japan, mainly due to there lack of resources such as gas and oil and there feverish drive for dependency after the 1970 oil crisis...that's 55 reactors!

Isn't it 55 plants?
Fukushima counts as 1 plant and it has 6 reactors...
