    changing Speed01, Speed02, Speed03 in SpeedFan doesn't seem to change fan speeds at all. tried with/without AI Suite II running.

    have you actually tested SpeedFan with this mobo and it works?

    Edit: trying latest beta, maybe this will work

    Edit2: latest beta detects Nuvoton sensor, but fan speed still seems locked to whatever the BIOS or AI Suite has configured. (whether it'd disabled 100% or temp controlled).

    maybe I'm still doing something wrong. in any case, without further going off topic... thanks! I may eventually figure it out. but It seems like Asus has fan controls locked to BIOS/AI software only.
