HI Bill Just went back and changed a few items and took a breath from build. I am working hard and will post some pictures very soon. added some carbon and re-done the pumps with tint

Time to get things moving again. Added some DI-Noc Carbon to the front Bezel pf the Build. I think it gives it a clean CLASSY look. Feed back guys.







I added some Black tint to my Danger Den Res. and The clear Acrylic XSPC tops.

I agree... the carbon is better as an accent, not like a whole piece.

I think I have to agree with the other feedback, that the carbon fibre front panel sections don't work that well.

It might be that the photograph is making it look worse than it is in reality, but the individual pieces look rather messy.

If you could make a single front panel and cover this in the carbon fibre to give a sleek and seamless finish I think this would look much better.

Possibly apply it in one long piece and then cut out the sections that you need to. I think it would make it flow better, right now you can tell the pieces were applied individually, but I like the concept


You've given me a ton of ideas I haven't really started digging into my case yet, but I had a question about the bottom hard drive trays that you removed. Are those a separate piece from the hot swap bays? Can the bottom bays be removed with out cutting?

How are you cooling your rad on the bottom (getting new air in and hot air out)?

Thanks guys and yes I agree that one piece with the necessary cuts would look better. The photo;s do it no justice though. It does not allow for the textured look that makes the carbon look good.

Ketelone. yes you can remove that cage without cutting anything you just need to remove a few pop rivet's. There are two ways to mount a rad either laying down drawing air up through the rad or vertical like i mounted it. I will be drawing air also from the bottom. I raised the case with the new feet so i can mount a fan pushing air in also.

NO but I added a alum. plate on top of the shelf and also with the vertical rad it added a bit of support. If you mount a rad the way i did be aware that it can be a tight fit. the RX240 fits but its snug. and I had the shelf out. There are a few rads out there that will fit. Mine real snug because I added acoustic material on the bottom and on the underside of the mid shelf. I did this for two reasons one to absorb some fan noise but also to dampen some pump vibration on top of the shelf.

I think some creative alum work would look alot better then that stick they used to prop up the shelf.

some Modders mesh across the front would allow some airflow look cool and add some support to the shelf.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the other guys regarding the carbon on the front. I think the case looked a lot better with the carbon just on the sides and the front black.
