What would you recommend time wise on prime 2.64 to be fully stable!

Is this only something new or have you noticed bumps in vcore from the start? It wouldnt be the TIM you used more like the mounting pressure..

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I prefer just gaming, unless you have a second computer to use at the same time.
Especially when your temps are skyrocketing, you can just do a VERY quick run of prime95 (even 30 seconds!) just to make sure that you don't immediately crash. Because if you crash within 5 seconds of launching prime, you actually risk OS corruption if you run other programs....

So are you able to use lower voltages because your temps are real low or because your chip doesn't require more than 1.21v for 5.3Ghz? Also, I thought these chips had a cold bug around 3-7c, did you have any issue with this?

I don't know the answer, but either he got a really golden chip, ot it seasm more likely to be a CPU-z bug, it's not reading the right vCore.

I ran prime blend last night on a 2500K @4500mhz, got an error after 3h42min. This was with 1.270vcore which was 50runs linx+sp1 stable. Should I up the vcore ?

When I get an error in prime it also always seems to be on the last core ?

My PC is 1 hour prime stable at 4.5 1.285Vcore, lowered it to 1.275, haven't had an issue in any game... if you want it to pass your stability mark, up the vcore one notch to 1.275, otherwise leave it and enjoy the power of SB

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

    Good morning guys,
Based on what I've seen so far - for cooling for SB, ideally - I would have the following -
    1. For 24/7 - megahalems or super megahalems with good case air flow - with some small luck and skill - 5g stable 24/7
    2. For benching - either very good chilled water - down to around 0C (needs to be better than mine) or spring for an SS.
Preferably an SS with some temp adjustability to cope with SB cold problems.

A few lucky folks have found such a good chip that they can reach 55x+ multi's on just aftermarket air.
Based on what we've seen so far, these will likely be only the very lucky (or the very wealthy) few.

edit - For SB I have not noticed lower volts needed when under chilled water.
Part of this is that I'm going after the max score and so operating at high voltage to try to get the max out of it.
The above run was 2x Coolit Boreas in series to a GTZ block, idle was about 16-17C at 1.57v (bios), LLC level 1.
Load temps? I need to check sometime - I'm sure its way up there.

hallo, what is "cpu pll overvoltage" ? Is it dangerous to enable? I enabled it and that made me be able to bench with 52x ratio. plz answer I need to know what it is

    Thx

Have just ordered a Hailea Ultra Titan 1500 for chilling my SB and 580GTX hopefully should get better temps but am not going to run to low because of condensation! Nice setup There!

pcmv at 1.61v, 53x multi, ht on, give you an idea of how cool SB runs, this under chilled water, good air probably not much hotter -
