This is what I would have done to make the car stand more out, with both composition and color/brightness changes.

    Don't quote pictures

    1. Rough crop, with the driver side headlamp as the center.
    2. Then I messed a little around with contrast and brightness.
    3. Adjusted colour saturation to make the image pop a little more.
    4. Adjusted Levels(shadows) a little to further pull out the car.
    5. Sharpen to remove the "haze/blurriness" in the picture.

    Board game night with friends.

Some questions regarding on post processing...

    This is NOT my picture.

Thomas is a great photographer that shoots large formats. I love urban shots, and the unique colors in his photographs is what I like the most.
I've always thought that the color effects are from some type of filter lens, since he does large format.
But from seeing an example above, taken by a Lumix LX2, I am assuming that the color effect might be done by post-processing.

What kind of Photoshop plug-ins will able me achieve this kind of colors?

I am pretty sure HDR can't render such color. Someone please help.

Really looks like a form of HDR to me... Theres all kinds of processing you can to to multi exposure shots to achieve different looks. Most people somehow prefer making them look crazy and unrealistic for whatever reason. I do HDR shots on my phone all the time, and thats just to extend the cameras dynamic range marginally and still make them look realistic. Its just that cell phones generally have poor dynamic range... Maybe if you have a DSLR with good dynamic range and you extend it significantly it looks like that? Theres all kinds of things you can do in post...

I have too many photos to sort, so this is all you get... Most of my indoor photos have no GPS data due to the metal roof.

I see what you mean there.

What I am trying to find out is:

Does any of you guys know a Plug-in to Photoshop that can help me achieve colors like this?

I'll post one before I go to bed. Don't just glance over, take a second to check out all the quirky details of this well used bicycle.

No, it's a single speed. Brake by stopping the pedals. However, it does have a fake disc up front.

Lol, good luck with trying to mimic film look with digital camera.

That LX2 photo is probably slightly processed, though, nothing special. And rest? Its 8x10 large format camera .. film camera.

And no you cant do anything like that unless you buy large format camera and some very good scanner. Ok, maybe some digital MF would help. Cheapest try would be Pentax 645D.

Pretty killer pictures he produce with that large format..

Wow, I don't even have a DSLR yet and now you're telling me to spend 10 grand on a camera .

And yeah I am just trying to mimic what he has done to the LX2 picture, for the large format, I am convinced.

That guy is an awesome photographer, I'll have to admit.
