Sure, I'd love to plaster the forum with benchmarks but then there is the other side.

No.. I have no signed NDA's with anyone but you have to stop and thinkon what your doing.
My way to handle this is to speak in generalities with no numbers.
I can say this:
It's a beast,needs bios to be more mature( Intel Burrage board) and is electrically VERY efficient.
You will NOT be disappointed if you buy one of the 2500k's or 2600k's.
The 2600k has HT, the 2500k doesn't and is supposed to be $100.00 cheaper.
If your a gamer get the 2500k, a cruncher or bencher get the 2600k.

Now I have a question for you guys:
Who the hell do I call at Gigabyte to get my hands on a P67 UD5 or 7 as those seem to be the best out!
Yes, my credit card is in hand, not looking for any gifts!

About the mobos...they are listed in plenty shops around the world so you shouldn't have problems in the US, methinks.

thanks for the review onethree, only thing i dont like about the i5 sandybridges is that you need to buy the "k series" to actually overclock these chips via Multiplier, wonder how much high ends will cost..
i5 2300 has a 10% increase over the i5 760, 2500k has about 20%

I'm sorry but I'm super excited about these chips; especially 2500K & 2600K. Coming from a daily 4.2Ghz E8400 I'm hoping to see some improvement in gaming & general performance across the board even running 3.8Ghz on a 2500K...doub't it would need much of a voltage bump if any to hit that speed...Don't yell at me but I'm looking at buying a H50 for the upcoming 2500K. Good move or bad? I've heard good things & I've heard bad things! Of course I'm on a low end budget so I can't afford a full blown water cooling solution ATM.

I would go with the XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit for about $130. Looks to be better quality and will get you lower temps.

I just got the H50 and it's... ok. Ok temps, ok noise, ok price. it's very ok. If you can do the H70 or better then do it. also Megahalems or other high end air cooler would be a good choice

Thanks edruns69 & shoota, I will look into these. Wasn't really planning on spending more than what the H50 costs, so I might just end up with the Noctua or Megahalems. I will look into that XSPC Rasa kit though, for $130 if it beats the H70 by a good margin I will probably end up getting it. Dual 120mm rad already looks like it would perform better lol!

i put a gentle typhoon on my H50 and temps dropped 4C and noise was much less (comparing max speed), your adding 20$ ontop of the already high cost of the H50, but it was worth it to me for its size and performance (see the sig for why i needed something compact)

i'm also not a fan of the noise quality of the pump. its not loud but its distinct enough to stand out quite a bit, to my ears at least.

that sounds like an issue for an RMA, mine is dead silent other than the initial turn on where the bubbles might move a little at first.

no you can change it to a certain degree but we are talking in .1mhz increments because any changes will result in crashing considering the BCLK controls so much, however yo can expect the extreme guys to be overvoltageing and tweaking till the cows come home to get that extra .1mhz

So the max "supported" memory freq is 2133mhz right? How good is the new IMC? Is is going to take tons of VTT or whatever it is called now to reach those speeds making it pointless for 24/7? Kind of like lynfield or will 2000-2133 be doable for 24/7 use?
