The magnitudes are different, representing the great difference in the type of rendered scenes, but the ranking between nvidia and ATI cards is just about right, indicating similar shader efficiency between the game and benchmark. Also the tests were run with different driver versions. I experienced a significant variation in performance between every driver I tried around that time.
