If they admitted that AM3+ would be compatible with Komodo it would be to easy to apply the C2012 specs on AM3+, and thus predict some of the surprises with AM3+ that is responsible for the scraped compatibility with AM3.

C2012 is a server architecture, don't try to make client comparisons from that.

Bulldozers are often used to move huge piles of crap from one place to another. I wonder if AMD's choice of nomenclature is to just combat the Intel hype over Sandy Bridge?

The original architecture were all hammers (i.e. jackhammer, sledgehammer, etc.)

These new cores are all heavy equipment (bulldozer, bobcat, etc.)
