if a 1120SP card can almost match a 1600SP card, than a 1920SP card can surely match a 3200SP card with some more optimizations (the so called 4D design) no?

I'm not sure If I catch your point right, correct me if I'm wrong. Are implying that AMD is using these delays to go back to drowning board?
