6870 sells for about 250$ that is a lot of room for ati to bring a few cards to the plate, even 5970 is cheaper then 580 and provides same or better performance. Even 2x 6870 is much better then 580.

6950 and 6970 will launch with 300-400$ price tag and NV will only be able to lower 580 price already and provide cut down versions in between there 460-580 range.

You see, guys like you make me to get concerned about a real competitive GPU from AMD. It scares me when you mention 6870 or 5970, because the first one can't compete and the later is OEF soon.

With 6990 being out of the picture, then 6950 and 6970 have to deliver the performance to compete with GTX580. Lets hope they can do that.
