Well that may be taking the argument out of context, it was more in regards to Nvidias refresh deserving the 580 designation over the 480 by offering solid performance gains vs AMD 6870 replacing 5870 with less performance.
It would also be irrelevant had AMD released 69xx's first so its a pointless argument that won't stand w/in a month's time
