Let's play wait & see, shall we ? IMHO, for a "minor" refresh chip, i think this card offers a decent improvement. Regarding value, let's see what AMD can bring to the table first before making any firm judgement.
Wow, i've been an apologist for Fermi in the past few days, that has to be a record. 
BTW, i think AMD want to be behind this time so they can make sure that the presentation slide graphs will contain an official performance result of GTX 580, if Cayman turns out to be as good as promised, this can really show them in a very good light among enthusiasts.
