This better have a few more changes than clocks. If it doesn't well shame on them because this should have been the gtx 485. The only way I would see this as worthy of being considered a new generation is they cut power consumption by atleast 25% and increased performance by 20+%. If they don't do that this can't be considered a new generation. This isn't a rebrand, but its not enough to be called the gtx 580. Worst case scenario I think is if this is just a4 revision and its the same card with higher clocks. If that comes true man it will be the worst product refresh I have ever seen.

The biggest concern for this card is that it performs similarly to cayman, which I think is the real card I want this generation. Cayman has enough changes(from rumors) to be called next generation. It doesn't look like Nvidia will be able to catch up to performance per watt this generation. I can seeing them getting cayman performance but at higher volts.

Rumors are suggesting this is a 512 shader card with 128TMU, which in my opinions is not going to give it a clear advantage over cayman.

If that picture is true, I am happy they got rid of the hole in the card.
