I am using the M3NHT mobo cause I have SLI. My 1055T gets very unstable when I overclock beyond 3.5GHZ=250 FSB, HT/NB at 2050MHZ @ 8X multiplier, also the voltages don't apply or the multiplier below 14X. rather than that the cpu works fine but sometimes turbo mode will try to kick in for like a couple of seconds then goes back to normal,. Would like to have the option to disable turbo core as well.. Beyond 3.5GHZ the voltages don't stick and the computer will start to randomly freeze on anything beyond 250FSB also I am greeted with BSOD with 0x00000101 which said. "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval" and that's beyond 3.5GHZ. I gave the cpu to a buddy of mine and he got it overclocked to 4GHZ @ 2.4GHZ HT/NB like no prob with his board.

lol seems kjinda odd when most use the highest slot.

but now I know why my bottom card shows up first in gpu-z.
In the manual if those took time to read it, it says to use lower slot, it also says when using single card to use the PCI adapter in the uper slot for full 16x operation of lower slot.

I used PC Probe/RC TweakIt for software monitoring running Prime95/Small FFTs with the 1090 at 4200MHz. The listed voltages are the highest I saw during a 15 second period. At the same time I captured the 15 second time with a scope. The measured voltages are the high and low values during that time. I can go back through my notes for other voltages if needed.

CPU Voltage (Set in BIOS - 1.49375):

    Measured
    Idle - 1.492 min, 1.500 max
    Load - 1.532 min, 1.536 max

    Displayed by software
    Idle - 1.501
    Load - 1.548

    CPU/NB (Set in BIOS - 1.25000):
    Idle - 1.252 min, 1.260 max
    Load - 1.264 min, 1.268 max

    Displayed by software
    Idle - 1.250
    Load - 1.290

Those 2 are the most important ones...
Nice to know it's still in the 10-50 Millivolt range and shouldn't be a problem.
I assume you had LLC on for the IMC and Vcore.

    Thanks Praz!

Crim I asked asus to tighten ship on dram performance for a multitude of reasons.

1 being when cold the IMC bugs and 2000 is a hard wall, add this to the fact no one can take much advantage of 2000+ on air/water and we have some wasted speed.

Tightening up Ram performance can impact max NB clocks and possibly cpu......what really matters is if you lost anything performance wise not clock wise.....

Not saying that this was implemented in this beta but they may have......

Hey Praz, I hate to be a pest, but can I ask how you got RC Tweakit to work on both rigs?

I have the cable connected, and installed the software on both machines,
but both still say the "connection is not available"

It may be something I need to figure out for my particular gear, but I really thought I had done everything needed...

    Any tips would be appreciated!

055 seems to be quite stable for me, quite impressed because for 12 hours I haven't seen the FSB droop once which to me is very impressive, voltage seems solid as well for both cpu/cpu-nb.

p95 blend for 11 hours not a single issue spotted yet.

Hit the button near where you hook up the USB to the board so that the light is lit on button.

The sideways USB is the cable you should be plugging in.

New Crosshair IV BIOS 1102 ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/so...-ASUS-1102.zip New M4A88TD-M-EVO-USB3 and M4A78-E BIOS as well, you can get them now as the typical friday or wait few days until they are on ASUS web with a change log.

1102 working like a charm after resetting CMOS and reconfiguring the system

Both are different final BIOS, this one is from 24/08 in case you wonder so it probably is the last one one they fixed

1102 is probably before they switched to the new AGIE code.

Since it was built on 24th and testing was almost finished on 30th I guess this is the BIOS people were mentioning, at least it has every single thing detected and working properly on my 965/1055T. As for AGESA, never cared much but I think it's 3.7.1.0

Thanks chew*, I had done all that and it still didn't work...
Then I realized I had turned it off in bios on the main rig awhile back.

It's pretty cool, but not really sure how useful it is.

    Thanks..... Dave

Still no information on the M3NHT Deluxe and no other M3N boards. This is garbage, I am tired of getting that 0X101 BSOD. This motherboard cannot be used with any X6 CPU I highly recommend it. Can't overclock, even stock settings it still BSOD's with the same BSOD i have been getting for the past 2 months. I changed to my 940BE guess what no BSOD anymore. Asus I am going to try the NF980A better not have the same issues and the lack of support if there is not another bios update or beta coming soon. Like I have said on my previous post my buddy got my 1055T up to 4GHZ no problem and yet I cannot even run it on stock settings stable.

Thanks for the reply Sentential now I know at least I am not the only one with the issues. Still sticking with Asus though but that means if there is no update soon I will be forced to spend another 300$ on a new mobo and ddr3 ram when I love my current sticks of 8GB DDR2 1066MHZ, and also I have TRI SLI GTX 260 Core 216's

I have as much settings as possible on auto in the new CHIV bios , so speedstep and all the other stuff is activated .
I have seen fluctuations in FSB from 108 to 234 in everest .

I thought speedstep and turbo are not touching fsb but only multipliers .
This also happens when I set pcie and fsb speed fixed to 100 and 200 .

Well, 1102 seemed a little more stable but after moving to 0055, I'm still receiving the issue of having to power my pc on and off several times until I receive a boot.

    Bios 0055/1102

You can flash between these two BIOS's, I thought it was not possible. I am getting a 0.02 voltage increase CPU and CPU/NB with 1102 over 055 with the same BIOS settings LLC on both. Asus Probe is showing a 0.01 swing on CPU and CPU/NB voltage also CPU-Z and Everest ver.5.50.2100 is showing a 0.02 swing. Flashed back to 055 just to be sure and getting the same swings.
