Care to share some figures Dino?

Odd number of drives often results in better performance, did you try using 5 drives?

    Not bad Nizzen,

NDA as in you won't tell

    Which controller?

I'm close to cancelling my order on the C300 64GB drives, I'll be doing some PCMV tests using 3-4 SF drives this weekend, lets see how that turns out.

    Excellent work guys!

Mr Dinos - Toping Corsair Labs (Mr Planet's most excellent ~5.8ghz/ln2) is a tough act!
What was your cpu clock if I may ask? cooling?

With a 166 BLCK (22*166=3.6GHz), RAM at 1333, and PCIe at 103, I was able to hit 24453 PCMarks -- enough to be at the bottom of the first page of the ORB.

Any suggestions on how to improve my score would be very much appreciated! I've read through the threads here on XS; most of the info seems related to OCing -- with my current cooling, there's probably not much more I can do on that front for the moment.

    @ Mr AceNZ -
the futuremark website has some quirks - log out and log back in
like dinos said - other than oc (obvious) - storage system performance in pcmv is the other huge player

Are there no OS/registry-level tweaks? Services that should be disabled? Settings on the graphics card?

I've seen multi-page-long lists of tweaks for 3DMarks; is there nothing equivalent for PCMV other than "OC and a fast storage system"?

Wonder what score I can get with same cpu clock as Dino? Most of my hdd score seems higher than Dino. LN2 and Vapo is too crazy for me

Grats Dinos! I can probably get ~5ghz stable with water, already that's hanging out at 90c.

The 1880 doesn't seem like it's going to be life changing so I guess I'm done. Will be fun watching you guys go at it though. Someone catch steve and make him squirm at least!

dinos which controller u using for your 5x ssds?

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
