Nice work keeping this thread alive Hyperhorn

I haven't benched anything in sooooo long, but noticed I haven't posted my 6m 59.xxx time here from way back.
Seeing as I no longer have a Gulftown that can run these clocks, I don't think I will be improving it anytime soon.
Here is a photo from the setup...

    i7 980x ES (3008A006) 25 x 202.0 // Chilly1 SS (tuned by Ruffus)
    ASUS Rampge 3 Extreme (0046) // 3oh6 R3E heatsink combo
    Corsair Dominator GTX2 3x2GB // KingpinCooling.com Dominance RAM Pot
    HD5870 w/ghetto HR05-RevA
    Seagate SATAII 80GB 8MB NCQ
    Corsair HX1000W
    Win2K3

    5051.2......3oh6................6.59.516....25x202 .....1010MHz.....6-6-5-18....2/10..X58

    5051.2MHz SPi 32M = 6m 59.516s

    *Update*

@aristidis: Very nice RAM and result, Iīm looking forward to a serious 59.xxx run.

@3oh6: I wish I would see sth. like 6-6-5-18 @ >1,000 MHz/Triple Channel more often. Seems there are just a few 32M-guys left who donīt go crazy about 10-sky-high-10-bla numbers on a mainstream plattform.

Thanks a lot. I' ll try to do my best with better memmory cooling and a better insulation of course, because with ambient temps arount 38+ C thinks are a bit difficult.

    what he said ^
in the full size screen shot i have the voltages listed. was likely 1.88v set or something like that. the kit goes up to 1054MHz 6-6-5 with the same volts.

definitely just a warm up while i wait for an RMA on my CPU because i haven't had time to send it out because i have too many reviews on the go ever since i put a list of contacts in my XS signature and hardware started pouring in.

but i will definitely be trying for better if i can find a CPU with better uncore and a kit of memory that can do the same clocks because i don't want to use this kit anymore because it is for memory reviews from my huge list of contacts.

    you know how it is
