Nice looking build there. Mine is still on the box. Crunching happily at 3.1. Damn the heat. Thanks again to dinos. We could not have done these builds without you.

Where are those blue lights to show how high you've overclocked it?
    Get Xtreme on it!

Great board! Easy to overclock, too! I'd recommend buying one!

Crunching action pics! Got it attached to WCG this morning, here it is working on its first 8 work-units. I want to let it run for awhile and watch the temps before I get into the bios, overclocking, memory settings, etc. I will eventually break it down for an sli rebuild, but I want to get some work-units through it first. As far as looks go, this is a nice looking mobo, especially compared to some of the wacky asus color schemes. I really like the board layout. I'm looking forward to playing with this fine board.

Thanks again to Gigabyte and Dinos22, their support for this team is greatly appreciated. It is refreshing to see a company step up to help fight these diseases, it speaks volumes. But a special thanks to Dinos22 for making this happen, without him this would have been a lot tougher to accomplish.

Thats awsome! The reason this thread got my attention was I wanted to comment on how awsome the guys over at Gigabyte are, They just recently gave me a PILE of swag, small stuff like pen's shirts, USB stick's, laynyrd's just the same I didn't even ask for it thier just overall a really good lot. I've gotten to know a nice Lady from the PR deparment and I just can't belive just how many projects, contests, and all kinds of really cool things they are involved in, in fact I'm not sure i've seen any other major compay as involved with the community as gigabyte are!

So if any of the Gigabyte and friends folks stop by and give this a read, You guys rock!

Found minor bug from this board. Some times when i cold boot this rig the nic is turned off. To fix this i've to shutdown from OS and turn off power from psu for ~1-3min and then boot normally.

There's no bios updates for rev 2.0 boards yes, only FA bios available.

Nope, but that happens quite rarely, maybe 1 boot out of 10, doesn't really matter since this rigs normal uptime is around 2-3 weeks :P

More crunching with this fine board. Any ideas where the temp sensors are on the board (TMPIN 0-2)?

Here's an interesting video of a Gigabyte mobo manufacturing process. It looks like the x58a-udr3 in the first thread pic, early on in the video process it another mobo, and one of the finished mobo runs is the x58a-udr3's. Very cool, very interesting to see the way some processes are automated and some are manual. Clean looking facility.

Hate to say it but I have not had any time to play around with mine. It is crunching along at stock for now. Once the heat drops then I will overclock it and see what it can do.
I did find out that it will run without a graphics card.

just use a gpu to install everything and then take off the gpu and let it run, you can know its running by boincview or by the results from this specific computer at the wcg stats page.I would run my pc also gpu-less but i am also in the colatz conjecture and gpugrid team so every pci-e slot i have is occupied by a gpu.
