Other thing, concerning bios 2.42B:
For me it's more stable than 2.41C and earlier bioses, while voltage in idle is lower than that set in bios, unlike earlier bioses(this seems good for my setup, could be bad for yours). I adjust the new settings like follow:
*Droop Adjust: 1/4
This is the slope of the dropping voltage when load finishes, I think. Maybe slope in raising voltage too. If I disable droop adjust, cpu freezes on the beginning of load.
*OVP - 250mV (default)
Over Voltage Protection. Not sure what it is. Maybe board won't let Vcore above (Vcore set in bios + OVP) no matter what.
*PSI_EN - Enabled (default)
PSI allows the VR (voltage regulator) to enter power-saving mode to maximize the system efficiency when in lightload conditions
0b: PSI_L flag in SVI ignored.
1b (default): PSI_L flag in SVI monitored and phase dropping enabled according to PSI_A.
*PSI_A - Two Phase
PSI Action, when PSI_EN is enabled
0b (default): IC working in single phase when PSI_L asserted.
1b:IC working in two phase when PSI_L asserted.
*DPM Setting - Disabled
Dynamic Phase Management
*VCore Offset - 0.05V (as default on earlier bioses)
