you're still not seeing the point of the R3E, it's a 32nm favored board so yes, if you're running somethings that's not a 32nm tech chip, you're probably not going to see alot of glory from it. it's been stated several thousand million bagillion gazillion times that it's favoored to gulf chips. that being said *that many times* it should be a heads up that yes you'll do fine with most 45nm chips but you'll do better with a 32nm. your UD7 platform was probably designed for the general purpose of being used with both 45 and 32 techs but probably does better with 45nm due to it being a more widely used chip range than 32nm just yet.

but i'm not gonna lie, i too am having issues with my R3E and have yet to get much of an answer from anyone on here the times i have posted my bios setings, so i really don't have the help i need to get to my goal or past it, of which i know is more than capable of hitting because it's only 4.5ghz and then times i CAN get it running for a bit at that speed, temps stay to the low 70's at most.
