in general, the new layout bios have a new vrm driven...

the oscillation of the current is a different from other old bios....

the current with same setting as old bios are too low in idle and in a more situation too high in load...

anyone who try older setting with new bios and surpice..... BSOD...

    hi.

I didn't try new bios yet, but if you leave dynamic vcore alone and use fixed vcore with LLC enabled, that should work fine with overclocked chip I suppose?

Same. DVID never really worked for me. Using an i7 920 @ 200x20.

    Shame... :/

That's because DVID requires certain hold times before the processor ramps to full load state. Without sufficient hold periods asserted, VCC won't reach the target voltage required by the processor at "X" load. Ideally, DVID should only be used at stock with SpeedStep active and with Vdroop enabled to ensure that undershoot and overshoot boundaries are within specifications (both Intel's and complimentary to the VRM). Outside stock conditions, there are no guarantees it will work as you want it to.

I been having trouble with latest official BIOS F12, i have troubles to even post with my overclock settings. Even when i bumped everything, it would hardly post. I guess I'll be keeping F9e's for now.

I'm using F13h for few days and no problems so far, but it seems to be slower in browsing and changing values with new layout in M.I.T. section... Other than new look no real gains over F12 in my case

How much VTT you have set for 4000 uncore speed?

My XMP profile sets 1.60V QPI/VTT, at first I was little scared of such a high VTT but I found somewhere that some kits sets even 1.67V at stock speeds and that it's safe for 24/7 so I'm using 1.60V, I tried to lower it and it can be stable with 1.55V but I stayed with default 1.60V

Where have you seen an UD5 mobo with just 2x PCI-E slots?
    All UD5 boards have 3 PCI-e slots.
