    Old: 0.508 x 1.651 x 1.651 dm = 1.384706908 liter

    New: 0.36 x 1.97 x 1.97 dm = 1.397124 liter

Yes, the newer is the bigger one.

(The newer have more rounded edges and more empty space underneath tho. Not that I care, but I have to point this out so no one else does it for me.)

Nice, but like people have said already it needs a Blu-ray drive. And they should have used ATi Mobile 5xxx for HD audio bitstreaming instead of NVidia's 320M (which can only do LPCM). Then it would have been a shmexy HTPC!

Blu-ray is an easy fix that I just can't see why they don't have as an option, even if expensive. It's a no-brainer.
A GPU however would be hard to fit in there, not enough room.

Upgrading those things by yourself won't cost more tho, probably less. But if you're into doing that you won't buy the Mac Mini in the first place...
Do they sell slot loading laptop BD drives? However even if you did find one, OSX doesn't support BD.

Now that's really bad. What are they waiting for? The return of the HD DVD?

Like how they pushed firewire and now everything ipod/iphone/ipad is only USB.

Same thing with single click mice, lol.
