I've also seen screenshots of CDM 3.0 and AS SSD where it got >160MB/s for 4KB random write QD 32/64. I couldn't find one right now, i'll check if ourasi cares to run a quick round of CDM3.0 on this 2R0 x25-E ICH10R array as a referance. Intel's data sheet for the x25-E lists it as 3.3K random write IOPS ...

And where did you get 40k 4kb write IOPs for the E? I am hard pressed to get 17k out of mine. 65k-70k for 4 of them in R0.

you talk about 4KB write with QD of 1 which stands for ~16K iops,
lars is talking about QD of 32 which stands for ~200MBps or 50K IOPs
