    [Just4Review] Thermalright Venomous-X

    Thermalright Venomous-X

    Test System:

    I7 860 4GHz
    ASUS Maximus III Formula
    Powercolor ATI Radeon 5850 PCS+
    GSKill Ripjaws PC12800
    Seagate 500GB 7200.12
    Thermalright ToughPower 750W
    HomeMade BenchTower
    Thermalright Venomous-X + 2x Thermalright 2000rpm

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This time the Just4Review behind you nothing more, nothing less than excellent cooler from Thermalright.
We speak of this course of the Venomous-X.
When we open the box we find this nice cooler, it quickly jumps to catch the sight its great strength and quality of construction material.
Will perform as good as the quality and robustness of construction?

    Tests Performed:
    LinX (5 Run’s) / OCCT (20 Min) | All Stock / 4,0GHz
The tests were performed with two different thermal masses, the temperature fluctuated between 17 º and 19 º C.

    Thermalright CF III
    LinX Stock | 4.O GHz = 47º | 68º
    OCCT Stock | 4.0 GHz = 43º | 64º

    Noctua NT-H1
    LinX Stock | 4.O GHz = 47º | 70º
    OCCT Stock | 4.0 GHz = 42º | 63º

As we see this cooler temperatures can optimum despite being a cool I7 860 to 4.0 GHz which is already a very considerable speed.
We can also conclude that the thermal paste that same back (class III) is really good getting great results.
We decided to also test the performance of this cooler on AMD, just a test, since it can only use it to buy an AMD retention apart.
The test was conducted with Thermalright CF III, at a temperature between 18 and 19 degrees Celsius.
We ran 20's Run of LinX to see what can really make this cooler.
    Here is the result:

    AMD x4 945 3.O GHz @ 3,8Ghz
    Max Temperature : 46º

Also decided to put one of the fans of the hottest time for its excellent price Titan Fenrir, you put the two 2000rpm fan, thermal paste and CFIII.
Look at the results, the temperature that it reached in just 42 seconds of LinX.

What shows us once again the big difference for this Venomous-X did not live past 68 with the LinX, 5 Run's complete.
After all of this will the final conclusions:

    Conclusion:

    Pros:
    - Design
    - Robustness
    - Fact of forcing the user to choose a fan, and thus the user to choose between performance and silence.

    Cons:
    - Only brings restraint Intel
    -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------
As expected the X-Venomous leaves the table Just4Review tests with top marks.
It's definitely a Must Have that piece simply by not bringing a restraint use the same settings in AMD.

Thanks for the review, but it'd make more sense to have it in comparison with other top coolers (NH-D14, Megahalems, legendary TRUE, ...)
    Intel Core i7-930 | High-End Water Cooler | Asus P6T6 WS Revolution | G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3-1600 6-8-6-24 1.50V 2 x 2GB | Sea Sonic SS-750-JS

    I know my friend.
But we don't have it to compare.
In the future, when we receive NH-D14 we will compare.

I'm using 2x Thermalright 2000rpm Fan's for Intake and Outake.

Like you can see on this photo :

Their performance is awesome, but they are a bit noisy for using everiday.
You have always the Thermalright 1600rpm, or the Noctua NF-S12B FLX (REVIEW) .

Damn, I have been cursed and/or pissed by a T-Rex. Yesterday I arrive home, running of course with my new flamant Venom. Get the mother off the case, took off the Ninja, put the backplate of the Venomous, and when I was going to put that lovely chromed retention part, it was touching with one side of that horrible piece of NB that have the Foxconn.

Anyway, I already post it for sell that horrible mother. Maybe today or the next week I will go and buy one fantastic Maximus 3 Formula with a 750.

    Damn, I was so anxious

I was thinking of some Enermax Magma or maybe if I can afford (near u$30 in my country) some Noiseblockers, it's quite a differecen between those but, what will fit better for the Venomous?

    Thanks again friends!

I agree Noiseblocker fans are great, especially for the price, I have used them in all my recent builds.
