But they are sticking with SOI, Llano is on their 32 nm SOI HKMG process for example.

This is a big problem for me. I mean, how can AMD make our decisions so hard?!!!! Should I buy an X6 now or wait? I have an AM2+ mobo, use an AM3 CPU in it, later get an AM3+ mobo, and then get a Zambezi/Orochi (mid 2011 timeframe). If I get an X6 now and build an entirely new Bulldozer rig in December, I'll just have too much damn processing power sitting idle.

I'd say that if your current setup still works then continue on using that until Bulldozer is here. Much cheaper
