Thank you for the info on the MDPC-X sleeving, I know your busy and all, but how many feet did you buy, that is unless you have posted that info in another post that I missed, if so can you just point me to that post? I want to order the sleeving but I'm unsure how much I will need with the case you and I have.

As Waterlogged says, there are two MCR 420s in the bottom, with GT1850 fans, and the res is a 250ml - horizontal config on top the radiators. I could easily add a dual or triple rad in the top as well. I'm using 2 x MCP355 pumps, with the EK Dual DDC top. Yes, I could have placed it next to the motherboard, but everybody does that, and I also wanted to try getting all my water cooling components in the bottom compartment.
heh, sorry about that, I've got a bad habit of skipping pages. (Not all of them of course). As I said earlier, I am doing a build on a case that is almost identical to yours. I'm planning on placing a Magicool 480mm above the PSU and a 240mm radiator by it's side. However, this won't give me as much cooling potential if I put for example 2 MCR 420's down there (like how you did xD)

Was wondering why you have the radiators in the "middle" of the case and fans "outside" blowing air outwards. Wouldn't it be better if the fans were pointing in the opposite direction? So you would have fans on both sides of the case intaking cool air and blowing it through the radiators? The "hot" air would then be trapped and force out via the 2 small 92mm holes.

You've given me some ideas of how I could manipulate the placement of my radiators. I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" some of your ideas.

Amazing finish You did a much better job of tidying the cables at the back than I did - I just seemed to have a never ending supply of cables all over lol.

    Well done!

    Nice work

Could you be able to control fans's rpm in bitspower x station power extension?

Well, thanks buccaneer - if you check back in a few months, you can keep following it, because it's not done yet! I've a few things left to do yet to finish it up.

Oops - sorry for the late reply. It's hard for me to say, because I had a couple different packs of the MDPC-X sleeve lying around. I'd say one large pack, and maybe 10 meters or so extra of the small stuff would do it.

Please feel free to borrow any ideas you'd like. It's debatable as to which is the best configuration for the radiators and fans when placing them at the bottom like this. I'd be hesitant to bring warm air into one like I'm doing, if just one quad radiator alone wasn't more than enough to cool my components. I hope to experiment some and see what happens. I have no 80mm fans on the back - as that's where my fan controller is located. And, not sure they would do much of a job in removing hot air from 8 intake fans :dunno:

Thanks, epony - not sure if you were winking at me and realized the build isn't finished yet - so cable management hasn't really commenced. I did spend a lot of time trying to organize the cables coming out of the PSU so they would flow properly, but still some work to do.

Appreciate it, marxviper. You have the option with the bitspower X station to run the fans at 12V, 7V, or 5V. I'll be running the two front fans at 12V for now - full force on the GT1450 RPM fans. Even with all fans maxed out, I don't have a noise problem. (Can't hear them over the room ceiling fan).

Thanks again for the nice comments and suggestions. It may seem I am not acting on suggestions, but trust me - I'm taking them all into consideration.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'm still planning how I can improve things once I get a chance to get back on dry land and get to work on the build again - it will be a few months.

    reason for long wait reminder

hey saw that u guys were going on about how long it's been since a reply, and in the interest of keeping this thread from being closed i decided to put in a reminder, She is on a 4-5 month vacation, not sure where but since she is away from her home and her computer is with her home...it would be hard to update her progress on it...as common sense would tell you...or i would tell u...same thing.

however i know i'm still waiting to see the finished product so please don't close it! after all then how will i know how it turns out? hmmm?

    but yeah...vacation....sux i know...but it's life.

ps...WTF JOB LETS U GET THAT LONG OF A VACATION???...and where can i apply ^^

    It's called retirement.

. . .and that was just a friendly reminder to Shazza to get back to working on this.

hehe ... thanks for the reminders, folks! Don't worry, I do plan to finish this build completely. While it's a working system, there's still a bit to do (quite a bit, actually).

OT: Traveling is hard work! We left Florida on May 1st - cruising up the Intracoastal to Maine, where we stayed until July - then flew to Indonesia for a wedding, then on to Australia and New Zealand for Holiday Touring. We have two more weeks in Australia - then two in New Zealand - then back to Maine for a couple of months - so still a long time to wait!

Sounds a lot better than my "vacation" this year. A week at my mother-in-law's working on her car, cleaning her carpets, etc. Its pretty bad when you look forward to going home from your "vacation" and going back to work.
