When hit F8 in BIOS, you get one option to update the BIOS, and one for saving it to drive/USB. This will save all profiles too. Just save the BIOS and send to him, he can flash his BIOS using your file. He must change the RAM-settings according to his RAM, but the rest should pretty much the same for same batch#, hopefully.

You know looking at the above screen shot - I reco you run lower v's for memory than what I show.
Run v's like that only for benching, otherwise stay at 1.66v and corresponding lower dram v's for the other settings.
The qpi/vtt and vcore are ok, hopefully the cpu PLL is not to high.

Last week I installed a Sapphire 5850 in this motheboard. Previous card was Nvidia GTX 260.

Now with a Corsair HX620W there is too much electric sound in FA. With my old GTX260 this electric sound exists but a bit less.

Is the motheboard causing my problem or it's FA ?
Anyone can help me please ?

you have this in other games aswell? If yes...
Then its called coil whine, and its either caused by your videocard/motherboard or your power supply. which one, will require alot of testing.

    Hope it helps

Steve! Exporting bios is genius, I'd be totally grateful if you could load up your 4.5ghz linx stable settings and attach it here? I will flash back to F4 just to be on the same page.

    Yoh guys,
I just flashed my BIOS to the 7d version and had to realize that the CPU Clock Drive and the PCI Experss Clock Drive went both down to 700mV
With the f6 version I had 800mV on CPU Clock Drive and PCI Express Clock Crive 900 mV.
    How come?
    What makes this changing better?

Good you have have floppy laying around.
I use a 4GB USB (formated FAT32) for loading and saving BIOS. It doesn't have the same drive letter as in w7, but it has always been accessible from BIOS.

Same. I wish I could just load one of his profiles instead of having to actually flash, I always feel like I'm messing with fate. (at least I have a 920 here if I got stuck with a non gulf ready bios)

    p.s. steve check pm's

We probably don't have a large enough population to say much.
I will say based on what I've seen so far - both here and other forums - they ALL seem good - so far.

Not all of them steve, my 920 would pass #20 linx runs at 4.9.
    980x with your 4.5 profile:

this happened with my own settings at 4.4 as well, looks like I got unlucky finally. :<
