I don't say this a lot, but that is some INSPIRING work, Callen. The acrylic behind the waterjet cut panels is just beautiful. And fabbing your own RAM blocks, wow! Great work on the res, also.

    Incredible work.

What I love is that when callen's away he says things like "haven't had time to do hardly anything.." and then he comes back with the instruction manual for epic modding a few days after.

    Just awesome stuff.

Such incredible work, Callen! Love the Callen Ram Block, the hand job Res is a total happy ending, and the acrylic work is rock star - blue came out gorgeous! It's truly awesome to see the ideas you've had all coming to fruition.

I'm completely blown away at the sheer magnitude of awesomeness being displayed!

And I thank you for my fix.

Amazing mate, you take a picture of EVERYTHING you do, step by step, detail by detail. Your work is genius, all I can say is that the router is probably the best purchase you've made IMO

I'm like all the others, nobody says anything negative about your build, because there is nothing negative about it!

the one thing I would have mentioned is already said by kgtiger, why there are no threads in the ram-cooler??

as a last, I can only say that I'm overwhelmed by your amazing update, there where a few things I could not understand completely e.g. I don't understand which part you cutted away at the front door to make the acrylic fit, but at the end it's still a complete door So I'm really looking forward to see the finished build so that I can understand all the small or bigger things you did and how they fit together

To defend myself I have to say that it's easter's friday today, so I have got the time to read all your words and look at all your pictures without spending too much time

You don't mess around, do you? I mean when you post an update, you really post an update. I haven't quite put all of the pieces together yet in my mind as to where they are all going, but you are doing an awesome job.

Thanks mate, there were a few more pics than i planned , there's also so many talented people on this forum, it makes learning a hell of a lot easier, although i'm no where near as talented as them!

    Just awesome stuff.
hehe what i should have said was i haven't had any time to finish anything .

I just haven't felt like there was anything worth posting. So i wait until i do something i'm happy with and just add all the rest into the same update. This was a bit ridiculous though, i could have made the post with a fraction of the pictures but, hey, someone might learn something new (that's my excuse from now on ).

haha I know, right? A normal person would have posted maybe 10 pics. Thanks to rick's incredible mathematics skills (), i've been informed that i posted over 100!!

Although it wouldn't really be a work log if i didn't show any work lol but i think i'll tone it down a little, errr.... make that a lot

Thanks, Rick'o. Your always way to nice for a pirate but i'm not complaining . I also had to make sure you got a big fix this time, because the next one may be a while away

I'm really glad you appreciate some of the work i've done . I think i'll re-do the ram block though, just the acrylic that is, as it's pretty simple atm. I can't do anything really crazy because it's done by hand but i reckon i could whip up something nicer... hopefully

That's not fair, i want it to be more than awesome (why isn't there any smilies for crying ). Just kidding of course . Thanks for the kind words mate

And IMO too . I wouldn't have been able to do 99% of the things i've pulled off this far without it! Actually i could have but it would have been quite expensive. CNC routing costs a lot more than laser and water jet

    Thanks for the complement mate

Thanks, Mrs F. . I completely missed the small text at the end of the comment!! I thought you had just posted a full stop hahaha boy do i feel stupid. So i guess if your stupified, and i'm just plain stupid then we're gonna get along GREAT

Your not gonna make me post up more pics with more steps are you . It'd drive people crazy lol.

    i actually completely forgot to drill and tap holes in the ram block but i think i'll be changing it anyway, so no big deal. And as far as the door mod goes, i'll have a crack at explaining;

There are 2 brackets on the inside of the door, 1 on each vertical edge. 1 bracket holds the door hinges and the other holds a closing mechanism so the door will stay shut when closed.

I had to cut chunks out of one of the brackets so the acrylic would completely cover the holes i had water jet cut in the front.

To cut it i just marked it and unscrewed the bracket from the door (its the long black strip in one of the pics). After it was cut and shaped i screwed it back to the door again which is why it was complete at the end.

I hope that helps a bit??? I do suck at explanations though .

Thank you very much for reading through, mate .

Thanks, everyone. Hope you all have a totally awesome, fully sick, incredibly super duper Easter weekend ,

be sure, you're explainations helped me in understanding when you say that you only post pics 'cause they describe themselves, it's very often true, but from time to time, I don't understand it, so when this is the case, be sure that I'm gonna ask

Note for you: Post your updates as you did, change nothing despite....you said that you post an update when you think there's something worth. What was the one special update worth to post in the last great update? maybe you'll give us the next steps part to part, because EVERY part of your update was worth shown on his own

One question remains: What colour shall your water have and will your amazing res be visible from the top of the case?

it's nice that you're giving this case such a good look, something that not very much people did before, so it is very original

    You can say

    - Raw=original case
    - Design and detail = Callen_01
