Hi!
How did you manage to reach these high frequencies with so low voltage?

Is it LinX - Prime95 rock solid stable ?

My Q9650 has a VID of 1.200V, so it needs only 1.84v for 4GHz, 1.192-1.200v for 4.05GHz and 1.256v for 4.2GHz.

I use nearly the same settings like Alien Grey posted a while ago (Thanks for your finding Alien Grey )

i changed this setting actual to memory at tREF 12800, vNB 1.28v (1.29v BIOS) and VTT 1.12v

my older Q9650 needed much more voltage for 4GHz (VID 1.275) to be stable:




but take a look at this guy:
4 GHz with only 1.152GHz LinX stable VID (1.162v)


i don´t use LinX for stress-testing, because it stresses only the CPU and produces more load than you will ever have with every other application
