How do these compare to the F3-18400CL8D-4GBPIS? I'm buying one of them tomorrow, gotta decide which one.

I 'm curious about it as well. Havnet seen any review about it. I was going to order the 2400MHZ CL9 kits, but it is a little bit shortage right now. I 'm also thinking which one I should go, maybe 2300 MHz just can go higher frequency.

they are also PSC but binned ICs

So basically they're the same memory, just the 2300MHz will probably run at a higher frequency, but more relaxed timings?

    they based on same IC
2400 are handpicked from Gskill or .... laboratory between a lot of PSC ICs

I agree with it. Even they are made of the same IC, but higher spec means special binned IC. I think 2400mhz kits should be really good binned IC. G.Skill and Patriot just released 2500Mhz kits, but haven't seen any review or post about it yet.

    Hey!

I am testing right now these sticks:
    http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=257&c1=1&c2=3
    Platvorm is:
    AMD X6 1055T
    Gigabyte 790FXTA-UD5
    2x2GB G.Skill 2300MHz CL8

And these stick dont like CL6 and CL7.
    800MHz CL7 is max, even 850MHz CL7 donät boot.
    I tried 1.65v- 1.72V and no help.

Then I put in these cruical rams:
    http://www.crucial.com/store/partspe...=BL12864TN1608
    And 800MHz CL6 no problem.

So these G.skill 2300MHz rams are not elpida?
    Max voltage for them?
I hoped that these bad boys can do 900MHz CL6.

    D9GTS can go 1800 CL6 on AMD... But 2,3V

    Currently running 4 x 2GB 2200 CL7-10-10-28 on P55A-UD6 at 4.05GHz and could not find a voltage balance.

    Voltage bios needed!

    Thanks for the fast reply.

    Is Vdimm = DRAM voltage

Other Timming settings needed to be adjusted as well?

    yes Vdimm = Dram voltage
no you don't need anyother sub setting, try just +1 on tWL

Looks like 2 x 2gb kit are much more easy to tame than 4 x 2gb kit!!!!

I still have trouble to stable this setup at Prime.
