with the voltages that I had passed all the tests first, then suddenly, when I did not do any tests, but if you just listen to music or surfing the internet ... I restart the system without giving me any blue screen ... yet when I have my blue screen crashes the system! because I disabled the automatic restart on error! may depend on what?
cmq proove with your voltages and let you know ...

Hello, I still have restarted in test ...

with those voltages I set, I have no problem and can not exceed 2 hours of prime95 small and bled ... with low temp ... High 65 ° ...

    Why have these restarts?
Now I tried to set everything to default and installed the old BIOS F9, to see if I still have the problem ...

I start from 0 and restart the ovrclock set the operating frequency 400 x 9 ... which settings should I set?

    thank you very much

and for me radaja I ran prime95 at 445x9 for two hours and all went well, temps were at 66 100% load, is that abit high? i should also add my puter is about 2 feet away from my heat register lol should i start to turn down voltages a notch now? I appreciate your help as Iam sure raffaele2521 does as well, will be nice to finally get this stable at a 4.0o/c once and for all, what realy made a difference was changing those auto values in bios to normal !!

Try HCI memtest in windows to test for memory problems. Open up 4 instances of the program and divide up your free memory between the four of them. Only leave the 4th instance set to "all unused ram".

Here is a little something I've been playing with since updated to the final f10 bios.

My third core is a piece of junk. I can prime with the other three cores at 1.45 but number three will fail instantly. No other setting help it last longer other than vcore. Sooooo... vcore is what it gets.

i think i found the problem, when i went into my bios under ram settings they were set to auto, .my ram is rated 9,9,9,24 and in cpu-z it showed that my timings were 8,8,8,20. and these elpidas are gargbage and i think the timings were way to tight so I set them manualy to 9,9,9,24 and will run some tests to see if that made a difference, I have 8 gigs of g.skill ripjaws DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM comming any day now, so hopefully those will work better for me, If my ram was to tight will it cause my system to reboot< my temps are very low! I will post back as to how it goes

You always have to set the timings and volt's for your ram manually.

yes I know that now lol, I totaly overlooked that when i started to o/c my board Iam sure that was my proble, I havent tested it out in prime95 yet but that elpida ram of mine isnt anyting to write home about, actuall it was showen as 8,7,8,20 in cpu-z wich is probably way to much to ask out of my ram, when it is supposed to be 9,9,9,24 I will test it out later today and hopefully all goes well. I will post back my progress

Yep, these PI9600's do run nice on this board, but they do need a little bump in volts when you o/c for blend stability I found. Not got much further than 1250 with my kit but not really pushed the vdimm that much - bit scared with a >£200 kit! What kind of vdimm have others tried btw?

Got my 775 backplate for my apogee XT today, and fitted it without a hitch. Load temps have plummeted by about 8°C and I think I'm finally gonna be able to get my rig stable at 4.5GHz again - woohoo! Seems like flow rate has suffered a little but I'm just happy I've got a block that's covering the whole IHS with space to spare.
If I get it stable at this speed, I would then probably assume temps caused the CPU instability and after the freshly built loop was running for a while and the weather warmed up, (particularly core 1 which was up to 9°C hotter than the rest under load) it just got less stable over time.

So far, I'm at 1.43125v (bios) at 9x500 and load temps are now around 67°C compared to 75°C with the XSPC delta block - next stop: lapping!

*edit - this is also after going back to the FB bios but still wasn't as stable until I installed the backplate.

    So guys,

It's now time to replace my 4GB kit of OCZ Reaper 1150s (the ones that can't even make it to 1066 )... Just wanted some feedback on what 4GB kit would give good OCing results on a UD3R. I have an X3370 which has had short trips to 4.2, held back usually by the RAM. I was assuming that 2x2G would be the best option, but I am open to 4x1G recommendations.

I would have gone for LV Platinums/Blades, but... they're GONE

There are two problems with that, though... First, the DDR3 versions of this board don't clock nearly as nicely (read that earlier in this thread), and that would also cost more money...

Just looking for a kit that's solid for OCing and isn't bank-breaking.

How about the G.Skill 9600s? Model # F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI are $150 - if it's truly good RAM, I can pay that much...
