Nice work, callen. I have no idea where the design is going at this point, but you're doing some great work on the routing table and have some creative ideas. I like.

I'm keen lol but i'll need Mick and Xion's consent first! hell throw in shazza and bec too for a better b2g ratio and we'll be good to go. In fact, i'll send charles and ian a msg too... actually scratch that, a case like that would be dangerous (i feel corny)

Just a quick update to give you an idea of where this is heading. No explanations are really needed so just pics this time, and
    not too many either .

If your not sure what's going on or why i'm showing something, just keep going down and it should become clear (hopefully).

    Only 7 more to go.

(Sorry, I guess there were a few more pics than i thought )

I know everything looks pretty rough at the moment, but once fab work is finished everything's gonna be sanded, polished, cleaned and dusted

    Thanks for checking in guys,

    Callen

    Excellent work Callen.
I really like the way you have routered a 45 degree edges around the parts that wrap around the mobo.
Your right it does make it look smoother and blends in much nicer, excellent touch mate, looking forward to seeing more.

    Please remember.
"Snug" is good, it's a very good word and you can never have to much "Snug" or say it to much,(well ok, maybe outside of a fabricating workshop that would be a bit strange to keep saying, so are you feeling snug today)

    On the other hand.
Gap, Oh crap and Damm it! are not good, no matter where you are.

Don't forget Nils. Then we'll take over the world, yo.

I'll even break out the Ninja Gloves (TM) for the task.

Two things are clear from this thread. 1) callen has some skill, and 2) I need a routing table.

I agree and i'm really happy with how it turned out. It was difficult and time consuming but i'm quite pleased with the results lol, so thanks mate . And no, i'm not feeling too snug today, saw Lupe Fiasco last night then hit up the city, oh the joys of being young

Haha sucks to be you, joking joking, but by rough i mean the acrylic looks crappy because it still has the protective layer on it, the aluminum is scratched and need to be sanded/polished and the mild-steel needs a good sand down too. I just didn't want people thinking it would be left like it is, not that it's a big deal anyway

Alot is probably an understatement i really need to tone it down a little! The acrylic i'm using is just called acrylic here but i think the one your referring to is perspex, which is much stronger. It's also much more prone to scratches which is why i stuck with regular acrylic.

Thanks for the complement too Viking.
