    Sorry dude but this just isn't correct. Intel specs say max tCase is 71.4C....the cores themselves can go much higher than this. For stressing high 80s is fine by me....for normal load use I like to keep it under 75ish

    I believe the chip shuts down in the 90 C's range.

    Agreed that 80 C's would be my high range.


    Anyone know a good method of getting a higher OC without Over clocking my DDR 800 Ram?

    PRIME will tend fail above 75C CPU, under 75C is fine
