I'm mainly seeing this on overclocked systems, I've had customers complain and return cards for this. For example, run Prime95 overnight fine, run furmark overnight fine, run both together and it GSODs within a couple of hours. My inclination is to blame memory compatibility as it's similar to a problem I had with nVidia and certain memory brands during the 8800 epoch. not fixed yet
at least they said "WE KNOW THIS EXIST...", but the "may randomly appear" says to me "..BUT WE DON'T KNOW WHY THIS HAPPENS"
