I think Thermalright should just include washers in the first place but what are you going to do As an aside it did make the mount tighter. I also noticed that the E8600 and the i7 920 both have their own sweet spots as far as the central torque screw. As you tighten it it will hit a spot where it has the best amount of pressure and it will no longer "wiggle" side to side slightly. If you go too far (on the E8600 at least) it will actually loosen up the mount a little and the "wiggle" will come back.
