    All in all I feel rather confident that my expectations are fulfilled: we get the exact same scenario as before: G300 is faster than RV870 by a good amount, but also hotter and more expensive.

    What does this remind me of? RV770 and G200 of course, but this time NVIDIA is "late" (as in, later as the competitor) to the market. Big green was lucky TSMC effed up their 40 nm-process so that AMD couldn't fullfill the demand.

    If you had said "I had four ATI cards and all went shotgun so I won't buy one of their cards again", I would not argue. But this, no offense, is no reasonable reason to avoid a manufacturer.
